I had a blast collaborating with Kay Lee and makeup artist, Selina Heraz-Bautista on this martial artists concept photo shoot.  We wanted to find a location that had large bamboo trees that could be used as a backdrop.  Having going to Quail Botanical Gardens in California on various occasions, I had just the spot.  After verifying that it was ok to shoot at the location, we collaborated on the shot selections as well as did some  shown here.  Kay was a natural at getting into character.  She scared me with that shot of her staring attentively with that sword pointing directly at me as I looked though my viewfinder.  She had that, make one false move and... look on her face.  Now, now Kay...this is Kenny. Remember, you like me!  LOL We all had a hardly laugh before refocusing and completing the shot sequence. She's super sweet, but you better remember to be nice in return.  She is trained in martial arts you know! Just saying!
